- What is Cardsetter?
Cardsetter is an easy to use drag and drop website platform that also includes several "done for you" services – initial design and setup, ongoing revisions and updates, security, and support. For a monthly subscription, Cardsetter customers get access to powerful website features plus professional website help when they need it.
- How much does Cardsetter cost?
Cardsetter website plans begin at $54 per month + $199 setup. All plans include a custom website design, initial setup, website hosting, an SSL certificate, phone support, and more.
- How does it work?
Cardsetter customers get started by signing up and answering a few simple questions online. We use the responses provided to recommend specific integrations, develop a custom design, and turn around a fully-functioning website in just few days. Next, the customer reviews the site for design, copy, and layout revisions. Customers get three rounds of revisions and changes are made to the site based on this feedback. Together, we make sure the website is just right. Once the customer is happy with the website, we launch!
After launch, Cardsetter is here to help with ongoing support, regular revisions, updates, and security.
- How long will my website take?
We'll complete your website within seven days of receiving your responses to the website inquiry questions. After that, you'll have time to review your site and request revisions. Your website launch date will depend on when we receive your feedback. Cardsetter websites have launched in as little as two weeks though most websites launch within 20 to 35 days.
- What do I need to get started?
To begin your website, you just have to answer a few questions upon signing up. Cardsetter will take care of the rest.
While not required, providing your logo can help us create a complimentary design.
- Will Cardsetter create my logo if I don't have one?
A logo is not required to create your Cardsetter website but it is an important element of your brand! At Cardsetter, we stick to what we do best–websites!
- Will Cardsetter write my website copy for me?
Communicating your brand and your products and services to your website audience is a collaborative effort. Cardsetter will generate some initial content for your key pages. We will request your input to make it better.
- Do I need a domain and how do I get one?
Yes, you will need a registered domain when you're ready to take your website live. However, you don't need one to begin your website. You can register a domain at Google Domains, GoDaddy, or another registrar of your choosing. It is best practice to register your own domain in your own registrar account so that you maintain ownership and access to this important business asset.
Cardsetter will configure your domain settings when you are ready to take your website live.
- Can I cancel any time?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription any time. There are no contracts to use Cardsetter.
- What happens to my site if I cancel?
We'll send you an export of all your site's data so you can take it someplace else, if you'd like. No hard feelings :)
- What happens if I don't like the initial design?
We'll re-work it! Initial designs include two rounds of revisions which is more than sufficient. Our expert designers work with each of our customers to create a unique design you'll love.
- Are Cardsetter websites secure?
Yes. Every Cardsetter website includes free SSL encryption and enterprise level website security. Cardsetter uses industry best practices for authorization and authentication to ensure only administrators have access to change your website.
- Is my data safe?
Yes. Cardsetter runs on the same infrastructure that powers Google. It's highly redundant and your data is continuously backed-up for disaster recovery.
- Does Cardsetter handle SEO?
Cardsetter has many great SEO features built-in, including: automatic title and metadata description tags for Google and all major social media networks, image alt text and "cover" photo support, blazing fast page delivery via in-memory caches, automatic sitemap and robots.txt support.
- What integrations does Cardsetter support?
Cardsetter easily integrates with any third party service provider that offers n "script" or "iframed" embeddable service. Very commonly we integrate with form, payment, membership, and e-commerce providers. If you have a question about a specific integration, please send us an email and we'll be happy to confirm that we can support it.
- Can I sell products and services on Cardsetter (e-commerce)?
Yes. Cardsetter has a number of e-commerce integration options available. We'll recommend the right approach for your specific needs. Sell physical goods, digital products, or services through your Cardsetter website. We'll ensure your e-commerce setup is optimized to your business and your workflow.
- Can my Cardsetter website have a membership login?
Yes. We have several membership integration options available. We'll design your membership configuration to your specific needs. Enable member subscriptions and gate exclusive content behind a login. Organize your member content however you like. You can even configure content as a simple course.
- Can I run a course on Cardsetter?
You can organize specific content into a course curriculum on your Cardsetter website. Your course content can be gated behind a member login. You can charge a subscription or one-time payment for your course offering.
- What kind of changes can I request?
During design and setup you can request any changes you'd like! Our designers will do their absolute best to meet your needs. After your site goes live you can change and update your site on your own, or request a change through our design team. See our pricing page for the number of change requests included in each plan.
- What is a change request?
Change requests include things like updating a photo, adding a new page, changing a menu item, updating text, embedding a video, etc. Your subscription includes two change requests each month. Remember, you always have the ability to update your website on your own! Unlike many other custom website platforms, don't need our help to update your website.
- What kind of support do you offer?
Your subscription includes email, chat, and telephone support by real people based in the United States. We also provided video chat and screen sharing support! There's no time limit.
- Do you have some example sites?
Yes! See our Featured Sites page. If you're looking for an example of a specific type of website, send us an email and we'll send you some examples.
- I already have a website. Can you move the content?
Absolutely. We do this all the time. Our initial design and setup includes data migration from your existing site.
